Police Investigate Sudden Death of a Man in East Honiara

RSIPF maintains high visibility patrols in Honiara and Guadalcanal Province

POLICE at Naha Police Station in East Honiara are investigating the sudden death of a man in his 40’s at Panatina area, in East Honiara on 13 February 2018.

It was alleged the man was seen sitting on the ladder of a security house in the Panatina area where he was posted as a security guard and suddenly fell down to the ground.

The man was taken to the Honiara National Referral Hospital by police and was later pronounced dead.

Officer Commanding Station (OCS) at Naha, Superintendent Jonathan Ben says, “This is an unfortunate death and I appeal to relatives of the deceased to remain calm and allow police investigation into the matter.”

“Our condolence to the relatives of the deceased at your sudden loss,” says Superintendent Ben.
