Burns Creek Celebrates Graduation Day.

BURNS Creek Adventist School held its Graduation ceremony on Thursday 25th October at the Maranatha hall.
300 plus students graduated receiving their certificates and prizes during the graduation ceremonial event. Among all the graduating students, four top students received the Dux awards according to their respective forms 3, 5, 6 including grade 6.
Speaking at the event, the special invited guest of ceremony Deputy Premier of Guadalcanal province, Honourable Peter Araonisaka congratulated the parents, staff and students for the success that has been witnessed on their graduation day. “Graduates you are our future leaders because we need Godly people for our nation and you will begin your life s journey, so be it and begin it with God,” Hon Araonisaka said.Hon Araonisaka encouraged students to have courage in all they do. “Courage is not an absence of fear but is the mastering of it and be humble, aim higher, live your dreams and be fair,” He said.
Meanwhile, Principal of Burns Creek, Mr Francis Leovania encouraged students to practice
perseverance, integrity, and resilience in their next journey in life.
“Students you must never look back, must do the right thing and say no to bad and wrong things that will influence you away from your education,” Mr Leovania said.
Many families and friends showed up to witness the graduation ceremony that day.
