Police Response Officers Receives New Uniforms

PRT training officer shook hands with CRU boss while behind CRU & GP PRU members.

POLICE officers from the Honiara Central Response Unit (CRU) and the Guadalcanal Provincial Response Unit have recently received their new training and working uniforms at Rove Police headquarters.

“These uniforms are presented to you on behalf of our counterparts from Solomon Islands Police Development Program (SIPDP) who sponsors them. Look after them and wear them with pride and dignity” says Sergeant Lionel Kapisa, PRT Training supervisor.

On the same note Inspector John Matamaru, Officer in charge CRU says, “On behalf of the PPC Honiara City and Guadalcanal province I would like to thank our counterparts from SIPDP for sponsoring these uniforms and the PRT for making them available.”

He adds; “These new uniforms will certainly motive our officers in their line of duties.”

CRU and GP PRU are the response units from the Central Police station and Guadalcanal Police.
