STUDENTS currently enrolling at the Solomon Islands National University (SINU) will have until the 7th of February, 2020 to enroll at the University.

According to the Senior Marketing and promotions officer, of the National University, Mr. Estee Baffet Lonamei, the decision to extend the enrollment period was made by the University’s Management because of the low turnout of students experienced during the registration weeks.

The Senior Marketing and promotions officer, however, stressed that since the enrollment period has been extended, students who had applied for late application and those that went through counseling can have more time to enroll at the University.

“The University expects all new and continuing students to be enrolled.

“The date for late Registration has not been decided on yet, but the university wants to remind the students that the Orientation of new students is scheduled from 5th to 7th February and lectures will commence on the 10th of February, 2020,” Mr. Lonamei said.

The Senior Marketing and promotions officer in the meantime invited those that have not listed in the University’s programs and those wanting to do their Form Six (6) and Form Seven (7), can still seek academic counseling and space from Lecturers stationed at the Ex-Library building, Kukum campus.
