POLICE in the Makira-Ulawa Province have completed a one-day training on work planning conducted at the Kirakira Police Station on 9 February 2018, which is expected to assist them plan, the activities of the various units at the Station.
Provincial Police Commander (PPC) Makira-Ulawa Province, Superintendent Peter Sitai who conducted the training says, “This training is important to re-emphasise the expectation that the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) have on its officers, especially supervisors, to implement the RSIPF Strategic Direction 2017-2020.”
PPC Sitai adds: “During the training officers were given an opportunity to learn how to draft their individual Unit’s action plans and as well as the importance of the implementation of the plan.”
Superintendent Sitai says, “The training has equipped the officers with the knowledge and skill to lead the police in this province and I encourage the good people of Makira-Ulawa Province to trust and assist your police in whatever way, to ensure safer communities.”
A total of 14 Unit Supervisors, including two female officers, attended the training.
