Another Four Positive Cases for Philippines SI Students

ANOTHER four Solomon Islands students in the Philippines had tested positive for covid-19 over the past few days, Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare announced today.

This was announced during Prime Minister’s announcement on the third covid-19 positive case in the country this afternoon.

Amongst the four was a pregnant student who had just delivered a baby.

“Fellow citizens, I am also able to inform the nation that we had a further four positive cases in the Philippines over the past few days.

“One of the students was pregnant and she has delivered a baby. Both the mother and infant are in hospital and will be transferred to the Philippines Red Cross facility to complete their quarantine,” the Prime Minister said.

The other three positive cases, he said are already in the Red Cross accommodation to complete their quarantine.
